PROBLEM RECOGNISING EMPTY CDR'S

I have allready posted a thread about the incapability of my PLEXWRITER !2/10/32A,Writing empty 800mb CDR'S with NERO.
When i ckecked the properties from an inserted BLANK CD: 800mb TDK the status of the disc was full.I checked all the 800mb CDR i had,the same thing.
This is a fault of my plextor?Or an ASPI problem?
THe version of my PLEXTOR is 1.10 on a windows 9a 8SE system.The ASPI is WINASPI v4.71 from adaptec.Also have installed the nero ASPI from version 6.0.0.11.and the alcohol120%ASPI.without any problems till now.
