there is something called the user's manual that came with your psp...

1. connect the psp to ur comp
2. create a folder called PSP
3. inside that, create a PHOTO folder and a MUSIC folder
really hope u figure out whats next =)

i also believe there is another way depending on ur psp firmware, but idk what it is, this should work anyways.

no double clikc on the "removable disk" that appears in My Computer and create the PSP folder in there

God, just stick in your memory stick and format it then plug it in and drag your music to the MUSIC folder. Its not like your installing a custom firmware.... Its so simple
