modbo 4.0 and usbadvance

After I intalled modbo 4.0, my 39001 ps2 can't use usbadvance any more.
Is this chip not compliant with the usbadvance?

I think that because you've had a chip put on the PS2, it only allows you to use copied disks to play games rather than your usb hdd?

It is so much easier using the automatic load dev1/devX that it got. Automatic loading hdd without the use of usbadvance.
