Just got my modded xbox , and it works fine.
When, I, however try to connect to xbox live, it tells me that I need to update my console.
What should I do ?
for the 1000th time. Yes. As of right now no one is having a problem that i have seen with console updates, game updates, or playing back up games on Xbox Live.
I am sure that will change down the road though.
Unless the firmware on his box is not 4.0+, like say 3.2? You update that and it will give you Error 66 and brick your box till you reflash it. :( Friend found that out the hard way LOL!
For that error to happen it also depends on what DVD drive you have? If it's a Hitachi, I think you'll be fine. I heard that the Toshibas are the only ones that give you that error and brick your console.
You can find pics on the net that will help you identify which DVD drive is in your 360, just google it.
