I have just recieved my swapmagic 3.6 version discs today.I burned the ps2's game iso to a DVD-R(Sony) using imgburn I don't know if I did it right but im nearly sure.So I then put in the Dvd swapmagic disk it loaded up fine and all then I put in the DVD-R to which I copied the games iso to but it doesn't load up or anything just says the ps2 disc is invalid or something this is for the ps2 slimline if it matters also.If anyone could give me big help by showing how to burn the iso, what discs needed, what software is the best and so on.If u could point me in the right direction I would b very thankful.
cheers Tuff.

Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden 8X DVD-R are about the best
IMGburn or DVD Decrypter is what i used
Burning 8X discs at 4X

What other mod did you install? Swap Magic alone will not play back up games. You need something like a set of Magic Keys installed so it will not reset when you open to swap discs

Like the others have stated. Using DVD Decrypter it's just a matter of mode/iso/read (to rip it) and mode/iso/write (to burn). Good luck.

ALL PS2's need to have one other mod to use Swap Magic.
They reset when you open them which is what sometimes causes the "not a valid PS2" error message. Do some research and you will see i am correct before you go wasting all your DVD's that will never work. You can get Magic Keys for you version PS2 or be cheap and look up what is called the "tape & tissue mod" or "Straw mod"
There is no way your slimline will play back up games with just swap magic.

They also have aftermarket flip tops to replace the one it came with which you can also use.

Okay. Tuffinho, you just stated yourself that it requires a single swap. I think you are pressing eject when trying to load your PS2 Backups. You are not supposed to do that.. If you have a Fat PS2 you need a slide tool to swap your SM 3.6 disc and place in your DVD Backup. If you have a Slim PS2 you need magic keys so you can open your disc tray and place in your copied game without the PS2 knowing that you have opened the disc tray.

PS2 - Swap Magic 2.0 DVD - Swap Magic 3.0 CD - Memory Card Exploit - Swap Magic 3.6 ELF - Swap Magic 3.8 ELF

PSP SLIM - OFW 3.71 - CFW 3.71 M33 - CFW 3.71 M33-2 - CFW 3.71 M33-3 - CFW 3.71 M33-4 - CFW 3.80 M33 - CFW 3.80 M33-2 - CFW 3.80 M33-3 - CFW 3.80 M33-4 - CFW 3.80 M33-5 - CFW 3.90 M33 - CFW 3.90 M33-2

XBOX 360 - Currently Researching Mods

PS3 80GB (Soon to be 320GB) - OFW 2.50

It is easy for people to miss, i think you just mis-read the page.

"This item requires the use of a no-solder modchip, fliptop lid or slight modification on new Slim PSTWO."

It should actually say on all PS2's because you still need either a slidecard or a fliptop on the older fat models as stated above.

Just get yourself a set of Magic Keys, and make sure you get the one's for your EXACT version PS2 (V12,V13,V14 and so on)
