is it possible to extract pfi and mdi files with hitachi drive?

I would like to make my games as "stealthy" as possible right now just in case it's needed later. The question is whether a hitachi drive connected through SATA cables can be used to extract the SS, MDI, and PFI from xbox 360 games with xbox backup creator or any other app

dont think so, last time i tried with my buddies hitachi i got an error with xbox backup creator say that the hitachi drives werent stable or something like that
