Just wondering. Is there a way to secure my internet connection so that somebody with a wireless laptop/notebook won?t be able to use my internet connection?

How to do it exactly depends on the type/brand of router you have. The best to secure your wireless network is to change default username and password of your router and change the security mode to WPA, which is stronger than WEP.
