The 360 can NOT play all xbox1 games, if it is able to play that game, then yes a backup would work.
Check the list of games the 360 can play (compatibillity list)

You can, but the game has to be ripped as a 360 game. I am pretty sure it doesnt work if you have an old backup that worked on xbox and then now your trying to play o 360.. i am pretty sure i had problems with that and had to rerip and add the 360 image..

as far as i know it allows you to play DVD-5 games. I do not think that you can play backups that worked on the xbox to work on 360.

OK... what happen is... is a new firmware to Toshiba-Samsung That make possible to play your backups on the 360 or even a 360 game on a regular one single layer disc, but this is not available Hitachi's Drivers yet, and i still holding my old xbox until they brig this feature to hitachi's Driver.. cause I'm one unlucky MTFR got 2 360 hitachi drivers.
Hope it helped!!!

You can play xbox 1 backups and with the new firmware you dont have to make them like a 360 game just create the iso and burn.
*********Now Just like mike said it must be on the compat list so be sure to check************

You can play xbox back-ups on either drive as long as your 360 is flashed and your using a backwards compatibility game. Also you need a hard drive on your 360 to download the updates needed to play the game. It wont work if you just have a mem card. It will just tell you that you need a hard drive to play it.

Just look under the xbox general discussion on this site. The first page of threads should have a couple tutorials. If not just google xbox backups. Its not as complicating as 360 games are so you shouldn't have any problems.

Yes, by the way your drive looks. and Well theres a video tutorial on how to flash it, use the damn video! it will help you, do it step by step, and well if you mess up...not sure. I sent in a Xbox 360 that had its warranty removed and I still got a replacement.

No, when it's not on the compatibility list is says so. That message means that backup wasn't made in a way that will work the flashed firmware.

Not exactly sure why some do work and not others. They probably only picked very popular games.
