Borat is very easy. Welcome to afterdawn. Turn your caps lock off it's considered rude here. :)

You have other errors, but this one can cause others. Not supporting your recordable DVD for some reason. Did the problem start with the latest batch of media? A little info on how the problem started would be helpful. I also noticed you're using older software. Many Nero 6 users suggest 6.6.0.18 as a stable version. Check with Gwen or some of the others in the Nero section for a download link.
Update the software, then do another log to see if you have the same problem.

Nero version 6.6.0.18 updates:
Package 1
http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Ner....0.18_no_yt.exe

Package 2
http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe

Do NOT install InCD just the 2 above packages.

I finally got the first to open, but the second doesn't. They may be doing maintence. Couldn't open either first time I tried.

Edit: Now second one works and not first! Go figure!

Thanks for all your help...so I keep the Nero I have and just click on those 2 links and that will update my Nero...I've been having this problem for awhile on an off...I don't think its the media, I can run a movie through fab and shrink its just the burning part when its writing the lead in it will give me that error. I managed to get one movied backed up yesterday but no luck on anything else but that's how its been I will do fine sometimes and then other times I will keep getting an error so after wasting 4 DVD's yesterday I figured I better fix the problem. Do you think that my buner could be going bad? I will read the disc I put in there etc.

Thanks

Try taking Nero out of the loop and see how things work. Here's a proven and totally free way to burn. It uses a version of Shrink that supports the free ImgBurn software.

Hi new here.

Bought Borat and made a copy for my normal use. I always put away my DVD's after I've backed them up.

Just did DVD Shrink to ISO and a 6 minute burn using Nero Express with the Plextor. Easy as pie.

Ripped Borat w/DVD Decrypter w/out any problems.

On a side note, did anyone else like the marketing idea on the outside cover and the disc label to make it look like a pirated propaganda dvd + disc?? LOL

LMAO When I bought it and opened it I was pretty pissed. I thought I got ripped off by the store for selling me a pirated DVD. That's until I noticed the silk screening.
