In the past running Win2000 Prof, I was able to back up all of my movies with DVD43 & DVD Shrink with no problems. I had never tried a Sony movie. I moved along to XP Pro with current service packs and now having a difficult time with all movies. Sony's Davinci Code is immpossible. I have used DVDfab, ripit4me, fixVTS, DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter. No matter what combination I use, my computer locks up between 60% & 65% processing. No mouse, no keyboard. I must reboot. XP was installed on a new HD. I still have the old HD with Wind2000. Also, how do I know which file to clean using FixVTS? There are many VOB files with the same name. Thanks, Arnie

When I rip Dvd's I use Windows Server 2003, a dual boot windows XP pro and server 2k3. Maybe that will fix the issue 2k3 is very stable.

Now I don't recommend anything illegal, but one could torrent it. wink wink
