i just bought a brand new gameshark for my ps2 slim its v1.2, technically version 5. my old gameshark v1.9 that used a dongle would work with backups but this new one wont. i picked my codes, swap the discs and it gives an error saying "disc read error"

is there a way to fix this

i went back to gamestop today and talked the casher into giving me a codebreaker cuz they usually dont give trades or credit for code discs but codebreaker didnt work either

i posted this somewhere else and someone mentioned that they couldnt get an action replay to work either so i guess i can cheat anymore
