Unlocked Nokia 6102 problem with incomming calls

I had my NOkia 6102i Unlocked but now I am facing the problem that the phone in Idle mode, loosing the coverage and the coverage comes back once I a trying to make a call.
What could be the reason? this give me the problem of getting incomming calls if the phone has been idle for some time it locks itseldf obviously
Anyone who knows how I can get around it
