The x o square and triangle buttons, I even think my l and r button lag, meaning that I have to hold them for a couple seconds before the psp notices that I pushed a button, the more often I use the button the less time it takes to work but if i dont use it for a while then its laggy again, does anyone know whats wrong, the psp is brand new, I have only had it for a few hours.

Is it lagging while in a game, on the internet, or while on the xmb? If its laggy while your playing homebrew games then its most likely because that game cant run at full speed...if its laggy while your on the internet then its probably your connection....if its laggy in general, since its brand new then i suggest returning it from where you got it for a different one.

Right out of the box the buttons were laggy, I played it more today and found out that its only the x triangle and o buttons that do it, I downgraded it to 1.50 and then to 3.03 oe-c and it still does it, I think I have had enough with walmart.

what do you mean laggy, like sticky?
was it used? or is it new?
Ive never heard of official firmware lag, and even so that lag should be universal not just 2 buttons. is the software slow or do the buttons stick. Im confused.

my bad.

Well I brought it back, the buttons were not sticky, just when you press them you would have to hold them down for a while before the psp notices you pushed it even if you pushed the buttson hard it wouldent make a difference.
