I have recently bought magic keys 2 and swap magic 3.6 for my ps2 slim(SCPH 70004). I have a ps2 from Europe and was trying to play a game from the US. So I inserted the swap magic 3.6 disc. The green "Load program" screen came up and I changed discs. But after I had inserted the US game, all I would get was the "pleas insert a ps2 disc" note. And when I tried to click on the "Load program" nothing happened. If anyone knows how to solve this problem, please tell me as fast as possible(I have just bought some games and can't wait to play them:)

You might not have properly covered all sensors; check to make sure you have done so, and also, there's a possibility that you may not have burned the game properly though I find that a bit questionable considering you didn't mention anything about the laser making any noisome noises and such so I could rule that out. From past experience, most likely you may not have covered the sensors properly, so even if you manage to get the system running with the lid open, there could still be something that isn't being held down in place and that's most likely the magic switch. The switch is located where you install that troublesome magic key -- the key you place through the metal hinges to the left side of the laser. If anyone else can elaborate better then me, please do.

EDIT: green loading program? I'm guessing that's from the Swap Magic menu, right? I don't want to confuse it from the red loading screen you see when you try to play a backed-up/import game on an NTSC region PS2 without using any sort of modding.

EDIT AGAIN: there should be -- assuming from my NTSC region SM set -- four options. I remember there being a normal boot, special boot, SMBoot or something to load a program or exploit and such, and another for a cheat menu, I don't recall the exact options, sorry. But anyway, could it be you not using the correct option to loading this 'particular' game you're trying to play?

When I say green loading program I mean the menu that comes up after putting the Swap Magic disc in. It's greem, and I wondered why it was that when all the pictures I've seen are blue.

And one more thing. The disc isn't spinning with the lid open. Does that mean any thing special?( I'm stupid, right:)

And buy the way, if I haven't covered the sensors properly. What do I have to do? I have placed them just like the manual says.
