DVD1Click doesn't copy!!! Help

I bought DVD1Click a couple of weeks ago. I also have DVD 43. I haave copied about five movies (episodes from TV) and they worked fine in my lap top (Mac - with Nero). I tried again today to copy some episodes and everything seems to work but when I try to view the copy in my laptop (Mac - with Nero)either-
a) only the beginning introductions work ie. up to the episodes menu or
b)the lap top does not read any disk as being there and it rejects the disk.

I HAVE NOTICED THAT THE COPIED DISKS THAT WORK

Have no discernible burn marks on the copy side whereas, the copied disks that DO NOT work have a discernible burn marks up to one third of the disk. The burn marks seem to be on the outside of the disk. I am not sure if "burn marks" is the proper terminology but in short something has happened to the outside third of the blank disk. It has been scribed or altered in some viewable way.

What is my problem?
