Disk wont stop spinning! (Swap Magic)

Hey, I have swap magic 3.6 and a modded ps2. (the flip top didnt work corectly with my ps2, so i have to take off the top of the ps2 disk drive, swap the disk, and put it back on.) But anyway I put in my SM disk and it loads up, but the disk doesnt stop spinning and i never get an insert disk screen. So far i have had to just quickly pop out the disk while its spinning and catch it midair. So could someone help me with this. I dont want to have to damage my disks any further.

PS: I have a PS2 SCPH-10000 JP.

You can try ,uLaunchELF
install it with a usb pen drive into the memory card then boot it up with swap magic
