Just wondering what every1's sign in times are like for xbox live?

My connection is 4704Kbps down/448 Kbps up and my average sign in time is around 10-20 seconds!!!!

Im using automatic netowrk settings and linksys 354G router

Seems like a weird question. My connection is 1500/256, and it takes me about 2 or 3 seconds to sign in.

Maybe the topic starter is impatient and thought that his was signing in to slow per se of his broadband connection.

I was just wondering becasue i know people that can get signed in within a couple of seconds and i just wanted to know if it was something to do with my setup or maybe my isp?

An example is i can be sitting waitin on it to sign in...then after about 30 secs it says....could not sign into xbox live.....then when i hit B and return to the dashboard...after about another 10 secs it somehow "connects"

its kind of a pain more than anything...

Thats happend to me a few times, but other than that I used to be a ble to sign-in in about 5 secs or so.

What are you basing your speed on, is this from startup; is this automatic login; is this the time from when you physically selct an account to log in from?

I'm curious, so I can compare...
