I searched around and only found TA-082 downgraders

i have a TA-086 2.71 FW

is there a way to downgrade ?

by the looks of things the 3.03 downgrader is capable of downgrading TA-086. so id upgrade to official 3.03 firmware and then use the downgrader (find it on psp-hacks) and remember its your own risk by downgrading :)

ok i was going to try that
but when i put the OFFICIAL 3.03FW so i can upgrade b4 i can downgrade
and i go to game-> and it says "corrupt data"
why?

Ok, i think i mighht have brick my psp,
if i hold the power and it just flashes the screen and it go back to black screen, does this mean its semi-brick?

EDIT: NEVERMIND
Its back to 1.50!! thanks god!!!

Can i reformat my Memory stick?

yes. after your back to 1.5 you can reformat your memory stick. and may i suggest you upgrade to 3.03OE-C. The best CF by far.
