I bought a 20 pack of the Verbatims and Im happy with the results that I got working with my 360. However I paid $40 dollars for them its $2 a disk not much when you look at it for 1 disk. I saw some RIDATA for like $30 thats kind of a big difference a cheeseburger combo I guess. What I want to know is, has anyone used both of these disks to backup their games, and did anyone actually load faster, or what did you notice.

I know you can't go wrong with verbatims, but can you go right with any other brands? If so, which ones

Verbatim all the way. I won't even risk my money with any other brand. I wouldn't be suprised if Microsoft buys Verbatim so they can still get their money outta us.

Sorry its actually a 25 pack but that is still a good deal.

Its at compusa (runs till 3-17) - not sure if all the compusa carry this deal - I live in AZ.

I guess I will get them and see how they work.

I have a new Ridata DVD+R DL sitting here which I got with one of my burners awhile back. I just checked it with DIP and the media code is RITEK D01. So I checked a couple sites, http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm & http://www.videohelp.com/dvdmedia.php?selectmedia=2353#comments and it looks like it's not really as good as their single layer discs. Read through the comments left in the second link. Might want to steer clear of these.
