Swap Magic 3.6 Not Reading - Alternative Route?

Recently my swap magic dvd disc refuses to read anymore. I see the cd under the browse menu and when i select it, it shows the words playstation 2 as normal but then goes back to the cd selection (with mem card).

I've done some searches on something called zoneloader and cogswap. Will these programs help me at all? I'm not looking for a way to play burned discs for free, i bought swapmagic a while ago but it just isn't working anymore.

did you install a program on your memory card that makes it go back to PS2 browser ?

no the dvd is just really scratched its been a while since ive used it. my cd swap magic still works but the dvd one doesnt.
