So I just burned a backup of Halo 1 on a 4.7 GB DVD and I installed the backwards compatibility patch on the Xbox 360 but when I insert the DVD it doesn?t work. Did I do something wrong?

I'm not 100 percent on this.. but i'm pretty sure you need to burn even xbox 1 copies on dual layer media because the 360 doesn't read xbox 1 discs... also.. you need to make sure you've got flashed firmware on your 360 prior to running ANY backup game.

Ah, thanks for the info, btw my xbox is flashed since it can read 360 backups.
