Why is my game screen turning red?
I have tried two games already and they both turn red.

Why is this happening?

Greetings, Dinner

[laughs]

I would have expected a horror movie video game to feature a red screen.

But seriously, agreed with capdown.

Thanks for replying.

But why is this happening only when I play games?

Oh.. only with video games, eh? My bad.

Well, we can look at it this way: there's likely nothing you do that's more graphically intense on your computer than 3D games(?) In fact, the games are probably the only applications that are actually giving your video card a run for the money.

Okay, suggestion two: maybe you could try downloading some updated drivers for the video card (from the video card's manufacturer website); the ones on the cd tend to be beta *at best*.

Also, you can do a diagnosis of your DirectX configuration and troubleshoot: try going to Start Menu>Run... and typing (without the quotation marks, please) "dxdiag" and press "Okay". Follow instructions within.

Either way (and every way) I wish you luck!
