i just bought the 6241 chipset PCI SATA Card
i have everything set up right but i keep getting this err.

port: d860, master/slave:a0
flashtype:"sst(sst395f020)"
ERR: Fail to open input file

whats wrong can someone help?

dont know for sure, but its cant read your drive, make sure raid is disabled...

disable all the other sata controller and raid

try a couple of other cd dvd roms since one of them could have a mediatek chipset since it is needed. 99% of cd dvd roms have mediatek chipset.

Did you install the Drivers off of the disk for the PCI Card??
What did you make your Dos Boot disk with i would recommend Xtreme Boot Maker 0.3.6(newest Version) Link below

i would also disable all your Drives in your bios this will remove confusion on the finding your drive....
