First of all, my laptop (Dell 6400) has media player controls on the front of it. When I press the volume controls it usually brings up a box that shows the volume. I know it isn't a big deal, but now it doesn't bring that box up. Also, when I shut the laptop and open it up after a while, the screen resolution will drop down for some reason. Thanks for any help.

Hey

Well I kind of had the same problem. I suggest that 1st you should scan your computer for virus,spyware,Trojans.

2nd I then suggest for you to restore your system which i think will resolve your problem (it did for me at list).
