ok so i'm trying to upgrade from 2.70 to 2.71 and back down to 1.5...

i've followed the steps in downloading the 2.71 from this web site http://dl.qj.net/Firmware-2.71-PSP/pg/12/fid/8046/catid/163 . i made the folder named UPDATE in the psp/game section. i copyed the file into that folder..and when i discconect the psp and scroll over to the memory stick to upgrade it..it says corrupted file...any help? i also formatted my memory stick to.

For the updates to work you need to download them on to your memory card. It does not work if you download it to your PC then copy it to your psp.
