URGENT! Questions about 3.10 OE and how to convert it from 1.5

Hi everyone, I have a handful of questions regarding PSP 3.10 OE.

I saw a guide for 3.03 OE and how to put PSX games on it. Do the exact same rules apply for 3.10 OE?

Also, I'm sort of scared of upgrading my PSP... are there any risks associated with 3.10 OE?

Can I put PSP and PSX games on it? Also, do the PSX games run normally with a certain emulator, and can they run cinematics? Please give the links of a PSX emulator if it's needed...

I saw something for an icon creator or something... is that necessary to play?

Please answer all of the questions above; thanks a lot everyone, I hope to be able to do more.

1. Yes the exact rules apply. Use a psx eboot maker to convert the iso to eboot.
2. Once you upgrade to 3.10OE you have a recovery option. this means you can restore a semi-brick psp to 1.5 or a custom firmware again.
3. You can play psp iso and csos from the memory stick. the psx player is inclueded in the CF install. no emulator needed.
4. if your talking about customizing icons, you currently cant do that in 3.10(unless it has changed?) 3.03OE-C is the most the most able to be customized. i would choose 3.03OE-C if you want to customize it to the max.

*3.03OE-C is almost the same as 3.10OE.

If i were you i would go with 3.03 OE-C it is right now the most able to customize and most more of the applications coming out for psp will work great with it. There is even an easy installer for it if you are on 1.50 here is the link to that http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/460892 be sure you are on 1.50 first.

Now for psx games you dont need any emulators because the custom firmware 3.03 OE-C already has it :).

Like any flashing you do with ur psp it has a chance of bricking, but be sure to follow those instructions carefully and you should be ok, heck i used that winstaller on couple of my friends psp's works great :) Enjoy, if you have any more questions please ask, we dont want anyone to have any bricks and we watn every1 to have lots of fun with their psp
