Media Center DVD Codecs (mpeg-2?)

Hello all. I recently reinstalled Media Center on a laptop, and installed all the drivers/software that Dell provided, and DVDs still won't play. It says the "DVD Codec" is missing or something along the lines of that.

I browsed this site and found a couple codec packages, but I'm not even sure that's what I need. Can anybody help me out?
