I (HAD) a home network going then I noticed that today I could not access my desktop from my laptop. I went to the desktop and all my drives are no longer being shared. When I try to share them I get an error {An error occured while trying to share F: The server service is not started. The shared resource was not created at this time.} Can anyone help with this?

For the computer that needs the service running:

Start, Run, type in: services.msc

Scroll down the list till you see Server. Double click, make sure it's set to Automatic. Click on the Start button if it's not started. If any other service it depends on isn't working, it will let you know.
