I have recently bought a PSP. It is a UK version which is a ta-082. i have sucessfully downgraded to 1.50 and i would like to upgrade to 3.10oe. My question is that the only firmware i found seems to be a US one. Would this work with my PSP or do i need to find a UK version somewhere.

I would get 3.03 OE-C if i was you. And the firmwares don't matter, there in unique firmware to any system. I updated my PSP with a Japanese firmware update and it works the same as any other update. The custom one's work all on regions, the same as any offical firmware.
I think you would enjoy 3.03 OE-C more then 3.10 OE, a lot more people seem to like 3.03 OE-C at the moment.
