FLASHING RED LIGHTS!!!

Alright, on my xbox 360 I have 3 flashing red lights, and I found that I have an E65 error. I know that an E65 is a dvd drive error. But the problem is that I haven't played any dvd's on it!! I have a VERY factory xbox I mean I played it directly out of the box, I don't have xbox live on it and I haven't modded it before or anything. I have no idea as to what could have caused this, or how to fix it! Does anyone know anything about this??
