I NEED HELP DOWNGRADING

i have been trying to downgrade my psp ta 082 for about 2 weeks now. i'm not the greatest with computer software. i download the downgrader and it says that the file is corrupt when i try to run it on the psp. i have everything apparently needed to downgrade but everything is showing up as corrupt data. does someone have the real deal and can you leave me detailed steps or an address to a forum that is going to correctly get my psp downgraded. also when i'm done downgrading will i be able to play all iso and cso games as well as the umd's that i've already purchased? HELP ME PLEASE

This page has instructions on how to downgrade any downgradeable firmware with any motherboard. Some guides have pics some don't, links ot all files needed to downgrade included.
