Max Drive Issue

Alright I have a Max Drive not a Max Drive Pro. My components are only the USB cable, memory card, and PC Software Disc. Anyways I've installed the PC Software and then plugged it in via USB cable and memory card. So while it's connected to my pc it says "error reading card - remove and restart the application." So I'd like to know how do I fix this? I've tried reconnecting the USB cable and Max Drive card many times and that does not seem to do anything. Also I tried it on my Windows XP and 98 just in case. So help me please. :/

You need to get the Gamecube mini-disk to format the card correctly for the GC to read.
