anyone help, i have captured camcorder footage onto my harddrive and it is in avi form 7gigs worth, what do i convert it to and what software do i use to compress, i have nero to burn it onto dvd. cheers

I use Vegas Video and DVD Architect
There are many other options.

Windows Movie maker can do it I think (never used it) but as it comes with XP you might want to try it
