Pretty fun mod. What are you solidering to for the power? Are you using someone's guide for this or just what you figure would work? Also, did you use any capacitors or resistors in the project?

I've been wanting to do something like this for a while, just never bothered to search for it.

its not bad but the lights are not diffused enough to gain a nice effect

i am thinking something like this

http://www.directron.com/mdled5bl.html

pull them and use them in 4 or 6 spots(already 12 volt),the USB dosent seem to have enough umff to them, plus it can eb a pain to convert 12 ro 5.

got any links to volt converters?
I love tinkering with low voltage ^^

BTW are there any mini AC switches you can put on it?
I found a quarter sized I plan on putting it in front so you can turn the unit on and off.

you'd have to it on the PS2 PSU ,I will be using this
http://www.directron.com/3pincable.html

cut in half and soldered onto the PSU to plug stuff into it.

the lights will have to be arranged and placed int he best spots to get the right efffect I will update when I get the lights in they should be in in a week.
