This was taking from an email outlining that the datawrite riteks are not legit riteks, are actually fake!

Datawrite samples are second print samples which I think will have problem in writing.

Ritek reprint only the Arita brand, Â Dora used to give me a picture showing a fading Datawrite showing Ritek D grade reprint as a background, so it is print + reprint, someone just did the double job but not Ritek factory.

Are you talking about 'all' the Datawrites ??If not which ones? I brought a pack of these-

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=11161&item=2750158430

And these were the first discs iv brought (apart from Pioneers own brand)that i havent had not 1 coaster with,im on my 5th pack of 25 now and still no coasters and theyve been tried on numerous machines.
As for the Clonedisc Riteks,so far iv had mixed luck,no glitches or anything but odd disc has simply paused during film?!?!?!

Also like to add that i HAVE carried on putting labels on them and NO PROBLEMS at all.

lol maybe the pause is to do with the labels :D

I really not sure if its all Datawrite or not, my guess would be that it is, since Ritek are not producing the Datawrites in their factories. Its not even an OEM. But then i could be wrong, i just was given what the email stated.

The Clone Disc are very good. Might be the player....

i check all the discs before and after i label them, the pause problem was before they were labelled,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

as i said the writers a new 1,and theyre tried on numerous players of mine and my freinds/relatives + PS2,all the Datawrites (link above) iv used have been perfect, even after the labels have been put on,the Clonediscs i am going to try again with,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,may as well iv got quite a few to be used still

the clone discs though, the actual disc price may be ok but by the time theyd stuck vat, carraige & whatever on they cost me £40 for 25!!

Yeah, but they are very high quality. I am happy with them and have found no other to be as good, at Pioneer's own brand at £4 each.
