I recently got a PStwo. And trying to set up so I can backup game saves on PC.
I brought Datel's Maxmemory 64.
Then seen the product Datel's MaxDrive 128.
Loaded up the software on PC. Seems to work fine.
Loaded up on PStwo Software loads, recongizes flash drive and memory .
But when I go to try to backup save files in the maxmemory it backs me to the main menu to select primary device.
If I select the maxdrive as primary it shows up fine as main but there is nothing on it atm to use it.

Anyone know if its a compatiblity issue or I need to format the memory stick maybe?

Tried to add a save to the memory stick and it worked fine from pc.
Then tried to send it to the maxmemory drive on the PStwo, it didnt want to go.
So from what I see the maxmemory isnt recongnized as a normal card for maxdrive.
anyone have ideas>?

Picked up a normal sony brand memory today and it works fine with that.
Must be not able to see or use memory larger then the standard PS2 memory card.
If anything I hope this helps anyone else that has problems with this.
Just wish someone else would of helped.

format your memorycard with the Datel's MaxDrive program itself

The problem is it shows up Red on the PS2 and cannot be selected as a primary device or used in any way in the Maxdrive program.
So I can use it for normal saves but cannot get it to backup with the Maxdrive program

I had the same problem with my 64Mb Max memorycard
but you can format your memorycard with the maxdrive program
after that it will works, the only little problem is that the memory card will only see 32 Mb of the 64 Mb.
you can also use the program Elf Launchers to copy from your memorycard to an USB Stick (and back)
