Hey there, ive been reading about this cause I want to put MAC OS X on my computer, I'm currently running windows xp but Im curious. If I restart my whole PC and when its time to use an OS, can I just use MAC OS X?

PC Specs:
AMD Athlon 64bit 3200+ 2.21GHz

1GB RAM

GeForce 5200FX

Really anything else I should list?

Mac operating systems run on mac only whilst mac systems would allow you to switch to winxp using 'bootcamp'. Well thumbs up for great mac!

Mac is designed to run on mac hardware so such guide previosly shown doesn't prove anything to me instead, I would believe that to run osx on a pc, osx would have to be modified in order to support the hardware and run properly on a pc.

The best thing I would think of would be emulation.

Another thing Mac only supports WINDOWS(PC) on MAC but not OSX(MAC) on PC

Sounds like a standard sytem 1year old or a little more with a good monitor, would cost around 850?

Then If you have a good branded ram like corsair or kingston with ddr2 add something like 120? extra

OSX will indeed run on a standard pc , true there are some patches and tweaks that must be applied for it to run however.

http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

that page has prity much all the info you may need.

There are versions of Mac OSX floating around out there for x86, in both Intel & AMD versions. Find the one for your processor type and your already on your way. OSX86project will help with the rest
