can anyone help me to uninstall vista so i can put xp back on. i have tried putting in my xp disc but cause its an older operating system than the one installed (vista) it wont let me. any ideas please.

Download Hiren's BootCD *don't ask where to download, can't tell you*, then use any of it's HD tools to format your drive, then reinstall XP.
And do make sure you backup your important data FIRST, don't want to lose any precious family pics or anything ;-)

Couldnt just boot off your Vista disc and choose Format Harddrive to get rid of Vista? For that matter, the XP cd/dvd should work too
