I just finished burning a DVD and I tried testing it out and it works fine in my laptop but when I play it in my DVD player it looks like it didn't copy correctly. The movie plays but it freezes every few seconds and the picture becomes unclear. I use DVD Shrink paired with Nero 7 premium.

Thanks in advance

It might be the fact that my dvd players are a little old. I wasn't multitasking when I burned the dvd.

Since you're using Nero, make sure you set the Book Type to DVD-ROM

I'm burning the DVD using a dell laptop (E1505, 2ghz, 2gig ram, windows media) The speed is 8X. The laptop is 2 months old.

the dvd player I tried using the disc on is a panasonic Progressive scan.

Round these parts when they ask what media, they mean the brand and manufacturer of your DVD. For manufacturer some software such as Nero lists the manufacturer. If you don't have the software or don't know where to look, google and get DVD Identifier. It's sole function is to ID DVD media.

Sounds like the problem may be with the player. Have you tried playing it in a friend or family member's player to see if it does better? Hopefully someone has a newer DVD player you can access.
