Hello,

I have lost my power supply to me ps2. I know that I can go out and buy
a new one but first I have a question. Here with me I have a digital universal ac adapter. It will convert to 7.5v or 9v, the problem is that the ps2 requires 8.5v. I don't know to much about electrical things but maybe yall do. What would happen if i were to apply to little power or to much power. Thanks for the time reading this and thanks for any help.

If it wasnt enough power then it wouldnt boot up. (obviously) if it were too much well your ps2 would be fried. the motherboard would either be fried or youd blow all your fuses. you should be alright though. (i think) the ac adapters arent that expensive.
