I've been trying to make Xbxo 360 backups with a Sony DRX-820UL-T (also called a DRU-820A) with the newest firmware and Memorex DVD+R DLs but I've just been making coaters. I used Schtrom360Xtract V3.2 to rip the disc and used ImgBurn to burn the iso. I read the tutorials of how to use both programs. Is my burner not able to make the backups or are the Memorex dvds the problem? (I know Memorex sucks)

Are you attempting to rip an original with the Sony? If so, that won't work AT ALL. But if you're buring with a Sony, then you're good. Don't use MEMOSUX discs. You think you're saving money but when you go back and buy Verbatim then you'll see why everyone says pay the money up front.
Get some Verbs, burn at 4x and be happy with the world.
