I am totally ignorant about the inner workings of cell phones so please bear with me. My cell phone company, which is a local company instead of a national company, doesn't allow you to buy phones elsewhere saying they've had trouble in the past with other phones so they won't do it anymore. (yeah, yeah, yeah) Anyway, I see lots of questions about how to unlock phones and am wondering if once you unlock it, do you take it to your cell phone company to program it or whatever, or do you somehow program it yourself? I want to get a RAZR or KRZR. We don't seem to have a sim card either if that makes a difference.
