Well I found this link that works but I think that it's a different thing. It's called cogswap.elf but it looks completely different from images posted of cogswaploader. Basicly it's just a big square with a black backround and some text at the bottem saying press any button or the d-pad. And then the only option it gives me is to configure how it looks. If I put in a game(a real game) it just stops the disk from spinning, that's about it. I don't have any backups yet to see what it would do with that but it would probably be the same.
Here's the website link:

Here's the direct download link:

Assuming you can launch ELF files...
In order to play a backup disc, do the following:
1) Run CogSwap Loader, by executing the ELF file (using a file launcher such as uLaunchELF)
2) Hit the eject button
3) Insert an original PS2 game with a high TOC (check http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/182717 for a list of TOC sizes, general rule of thumb is that you want your original PS2 game to be larger than the backup you are swapping it with)
4) When the screen text changes, to ?PSX CDROM?, ?PS2 CDROM? or ?PS2 DVDROM?, depending on what you inserted, press X if you inserted a DVD and O if you inserted a CD.
5) After a few seconds, the screen will say 'Use CogSwap'. You can now use your swap method (either swap tool or flip-top lid). If you're using a swap tool/slide card use it to release the tray and swap the disc. Remember to pull the pin back to place after. Then press X.

Ok Thank you for the COGSWAP! But now I can't launch it!
I put it on a pen drive and then started up ulaunchelf v3.4, and assuming that the pen drive is a mass storage device, I hit circle on MASS. Nothing happens. It freezes and I can't do nothing. I thought it was loading before but after about 30 minutes, I think it's frozen.
Why is this?

Try burnig CogSwap.elf to a cd. Then use Launchelf to run it from cd instead of usb. I have not had a lot of luck with getting launchelf to reconize usb pens, but does read every cd I put in. Nothing special just use windows to drag and drop what ever files you want on the cd then burn files to cd. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the idea, but it didn't work :(
Recently I've been looking for an ISO of uLuanchELF, and I have found one with cogswap on it +much more! But it doesn't seem to work.
I think it's because when you start it, at the top of the screen it says,"Launch.elf has failed to boot", or something like that. I can put the ISO onto rapidshare if you would like a copy, if you think you can figure out what's wrong. I'd look for another ISO but this one is v4.08 and it has many things already on it like emulators and a media player and a whole bunch of stuff.
Just let me know if you want the ISO, or if you can help :)

Right now how are launching uLaunchELF? Have you done the memory card exploit and using a trigger disk to load uLaunchELF?

MC Exploit? I'm not quite sure what that is... So I'm gonna say no :S
If cdloader is what you mean by trigger disk, then yes. I boot it up on my pendrive in the ARMAX Media Player.

i assume you know about this? if not, then you need to read it... it'll help out with A LOT of terminology, steps, processes, EXPLOITING, and such.
here's my system save.
-change/replace the "title.db" file (unless you also have final fantasy 8 disc 1 ntsc).
-you may add more elf's if you like with ps2 save builder.
-i use the old 3.41 launchelf, you may want to upgrade to the newer ulaunchelf (launchelf is renamed to "boot.elf" because that's how the ps2 recognizes it, any new launchers (uLaunchelf for example) will need to be renamed to "boot.elf" before you put it into the save.
-i have cogswap as X, so you just press it as soon as launchelf boots. you may configure launchelf using the guide below
-in launchelf, i have buttons assigned to other apps that are not included in this save due to license issues...
next step, look here.
sksapps.com is also a good site for finding stuff.

nintenut:This is going to sound a bit odd, but it works, put your lips around the trigger and blow really hard, it works.
bee_cup: My DS Lite L button don't work...
nintenut: Put your mouth on it and blow, gets the dust out, and sounds obscene!

Yay! I finally got it working! Those are really great guides!
But, by the way, do you know of any NES emu's that I can put on ulaunch and will boot the roms off of my pendrive, and won't be all choppy and slow(that's all I seem to read about)? NES is my favourite system, and I'd think it would be fun to play, and a lot easier to boot, seeing that on the origonal system you would always have to blow into the cartrige or clean them every once and a while. Just let me know if you do.
Thanks to everyone that could help :)

@vinney13
That is correct. Just add the elf file to your exploit through save builder. Also if you use launch.elf you can just burn the file to a cd and copy it to your mem card under BADATA-SYSTEM. I have not had any luck using pen drives but you could also try that method. Hope this helps.

Ok, Thanks. I have ANOTHER question; Is it the ROM that freezes and has distorted sound? Or is it the emu? When I play SMB it sounds horrible, and when I play TMNT3, the sound isn't as bad, but it freezes after a while...
Ohh man, I feel so noobish :P

From my experience it's usually the emu. I've never made a ROM so don't know if it could be a bad (rip). But alot of the emus I've tried have poopy sound and slow downs on some games.

Is there any way for INFONES and INFOGB to run my roms off my pen drive? I've looked around and I can't seem to find a way or an answer.
* Oh and if there is no way, how do you burn the files to a cd/dvd? I tried just using Nero Express to burn the .zip files to a data cd, but it didn't work.

Not sure about those emu's and pen drives. Maybe someone else can help.
As for burning CD. I always use Alcohol 120%. Seems to work fine from what I remember. I have not run emu's in awhile.

Sorry for double post.
Make sure you unzip your roms first before burning to cd.
