I did somthing out of curiosity. I am new to DVD ripping and copying and i have no idea what files you need for a DVD to play after you ripped it. Anyways here's what i did. I ran DVDXCOPY EXPRESS and had it rip a movie to a folder i created and when it said "Insert a blank DVD" i went to windows explorer and renamed the folder so it wouldn't delete it and closed DVDXCOPY Express. When i went to the VIDEO_TS folder i noticed a file called "VIDEO_TS.VOB" and played it out of curiosity and it was the "DVD BACKUP " Warning screen. Can i remove this file before burning with another program and remove the warning? I have no clue what files are needed for a DVD after there ripped, thats why i been useing a one click program. Another question is has anyone tried the new DVDXCOPY PLATINUM? i know it was just released but from what i read it does what DVDXCOPY does plus what Express does? correct me if i'm wrong.

You should be able to use Ulead Video Studio or some editting program to cut out any part you dont want.

You could use Anydvd next time which would remove the prohibited user warnings (FBI,321,etc) and allow you to rip the dvd without extra editing after.
