I have the correct WEP (tested on computer), my router has a 802.11b
My firmware is 1 version behind, any help is much needed, if you need more info just ask

ohh ya I cAN CONNECT but then it says, error check your wep code and try again, weird

Your user password and WEP key are two different passwords...Did you enter everything manually or all you did was enter ssid and password?

I scanned And found my SSID, security was wep, so I entered my wep code (which is right because I tested It 4 times on my computer)

Try tuning you internet so you dont need a wep key, then when you scan it should show up without a key.

yo, post your own thread, anyway, check if your routor can physcial pick up g and b, if It can try to config it in you software, enter 192.168.1.1 into your url bar to get to your routor, just 192.168.1.1, if it does'nt work switch one of the 1's with a 0, you can go to the company that made your routors website and change some preferences there, but people help me.....save me......... I NEED HELP

goto to wireless security on the webpage of your router.
manualy create a wep yourself, instead of using one already there.
try this one.
hopefully it will work because thats the way mine worked.

make sure that you didn't add the security of the mac adress. if you did just add the mac adress of your psp.

Each wireless router has an added security setting. This is the mac address. If this is on, then even if you enter the correct WEP passkey, you will still not be able to access the net. This setting will allow only your computer to access your wireless router, as no two mac addresses are same. So go to the webpage of your router and add the mac address of your psp or just disable this setting.
