God of War 2 HDL DVD ISO works on unmodded PS2?

I have a regular ps2 and a dvd burner. If I download one of the DVD iso from here: http://www.ps2hd.com/forums/showpost.php?p=69689&postcount=195

will it work like a regular HD Loader DVD without a mod chip or any other device? Thanks.
