Im having a weird problem here, I use smart ripper then dvd2avi then vfapi to make a fake avi file then i feed it in virtualdub to make an AVI.
Finally I use tmpgenc to make my mpg.

My Problem is that at the top left corner of my movie I have some distortion that is kinda of green and flickers on the top left part of the screen, and makes my movie look not so good.

has anyone encountered this before?

How can i crop a small part of the top during my encoding steps so that i can be rid of this distortion?
