Anyone here have experience with any of these drives?

Now, I've got it down to a couple of choices. All of the following should be compatible with the PS3:

1- Fujitsu MHV2100BH:

2- Fujitsu MHV2120BH:

3- TOSHIBA MK1234GSX:

4- Seagate Momentus 5400.3 ST9120822AS:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148214

I'm looking for 100+ gigs, and, if possible, a quiet HDD--although it's not that big an issue to me since when I play the PS3, my home theater system is usually bouncing lol.

I finally hooked up my 20 gig PS3 to the internet, so I've been downloading like crazy. I'm gonna have to upgrade soon lol.

if it was me personally i would go for the Seagate, Having had them in the past and never having had a problem. But i would suggest you get a bigger drive then that :-) definetly so if you intend on using the rumored loader :-) even if you dont if you get a bigger HDD then it gives you plenty of room for expansion and means you wont ever have to buy another bigger HDD in the future then copy all your saved games over Blu-ray filmsetc.

i hope this helps

Duly noted.

I like Seagate too. I've had a drive or two of theirs.

The reason I don't think I'll need 100+ gigs for the loader is because I didn't use anything similar for the PS2--which is surprising. I'm still unsure if I would.

Regardless, Blu-ray is definitely much larger than standard DVDs so maybe I should look for more than 100 gigs.

Update: I got the seagate HDD. My friend is paying for it since it'll be a birthday gift.
