Hello,

I'd like to ask a question I have about a project I am working on at the moment. I am creating a large video download service, I'm hoping to put a burn to DVD button into my download application.
I am not tied to any particular video file format at present.
I was wondering if there is a format that can meet the following criteria:

- playback on double click, on a variety of media players and platforms
- burn to dvd without re-encoding the file, and playback on consumer DVD players
- be lightweight in file size so download times are minimal


I know its a tall order...am I stuck with MPG2 files only?
