Okay, now neither the CD or the DVD one work. They both make crazy clicking noises and just don't work. Every single other game I own works.
Should I contact them and get them to ship me a new one? If so, who should I contact? Divineo, or the actual SwapMagic site?
EDIT: Oops, spoke too soon. Now none of my games work. Period. Whenever it gets to the part where it has to load, clicking noises and then it shuts off. I hate SwapMagic. I do not recommend buying it because it breaks your Ps2. I am f***cking pissed off. Holy crap. What should I do?!? Every game actually STARTS, the Playstation 2 logo comes up, and then it stutters like hell and dies
EDIT2: Wait! It's not completely hopeless! Naruto: Ultimate Ninja works! Could this help in any way?
The games I tried that did NOT work were ... SwapMagic DVD, SwapMagic CD, Dance Dance Revolution Extreme 2 and Ys: Ark of the N--whatever.
And what I did was the following:
I dropped component 2 (of Magic Keys 2) in my slim v14 Ps2 and I realized it had fallen into the back part close to where the disc brake is. To get it out I had to turn on the Ps2 while no disc was inserted so that the thingie moved forward, then I had to use tweezers to take it out. I may of touched that orange ribbony thingie but if I did it was a very small tap. Does that help?
EDIT: Tested a few more games, here are my results:
Virtual Fighter 4 - Evolution: Works
Tales of Legendia: Got to "Now Loading" and disc starts to make loud clicking noises
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja: Works
Ys: Ark of the N--: Shows Playstation 2 logo and after that starts to make loud clicking noises
ALL DVD's: Works
Dance Dance Revolution Extreme 2: Shows Playstation 2 logo and after that starts to make loud clicking noises
SwapMagic DVD: Starts disc, then loud clicking noises
SwapMagic CD: Starts disc, then loud clicking noises
I hope this information helps in some way.
